Privacy Policy for Nfooz Sports Booking App

Nfooz (the "App") is operated by ARKANTEC INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ("Nfooz," "we," "us," or "our"), a company registered in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).


We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data in a transparent, lawful, and secure manner. This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, and protect your personal data when you access or use the App and related services (collectively, the "Services").


This Policy is prepared in accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL) and applicable implementing regulations.


By accessing or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy and agree to the collection and use of your information as described herein. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

This Policy applies to:

• Users who register for or use the App;

• Visitors who browse the App;

• Communications with Nfooz via email, support channels, or in-app messages.

This Policy does not apply to third-party Providers (venues, coaches, organizers) whose services you book through the App. Their data practices are governed by their own privacy policies.

• Nfooz does not store full card or bank information

• Approximate or precise location (only with your permission)

• Used to suggest nearby facilities and improve recommendations

• Enable core functionality

• Analyze usage and performance

You can manage permissions through your device or operating system settings.

3. How We Collect Personal Data

We collect personal data:

• Directly from you when you register, book, or contact support;

• From trusted third parties such as payment processors, analytics providers, and Providers (booking confirmations only);

Performance of a contract (e.g., processing bookings);

To complete bookings, we share limited necessary information (e.g., name, booking details).

In the event of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or asset sale, your data may be transferred subject to confidentiality and PDPL safeguards.

We do not sell your personal data.

7. International Data Transfers

Your personal data may be stored or processed outside the UAE where our service providers are located. In such cases, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with PDPL requirements.

8. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including:

• Encryption in transit and at rest where appropriate;

• Role-based access controls;

• Secure infrastructure and monitoring;

• Periodic security assessments.

Despite these measures, no system is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.

In the event of a personal data breach, we will notify affected users and relevant authorities as required by law.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including:

• Account data: retained while your account is active and for up to 2 years after closure;

• Booking and transaction records: retained for up to 5 years to comply with legal and accounting obligations;

• Marketing data: retained until consent is withdrawn.

Data is securely deleted or anonymized after retention periods expire.

10. Your Rights Under PDPL

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

• Access your personal data;

• Request correction or updating of inaccurate data;

• Request deletion of personal data (subject to legal exceptions);

• Restrict or object to certain processing activities;

• Withdraw consent at any time;

• Request data portability where applicable.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UAE Data Protection Authority or other competent authority.

11. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or such higher age required by applicable law). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If such data is identified, it will be deleted promptly.

12. Third-Party Links and Services

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services. Nfooz is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of such third parties. Please review their privacy policies separately.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the App, and material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.

Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
